2013 NFL Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars Select Luke Joeckel

With the second pick in the NFL Draft the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Offensive Tackle Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M.

This team has a lot of work to do, but will have a solid tackle who could seal the edge for whoever the ball carrier happens to be, right now Maurice Jones-Drew and the quarterback who happens to be under center.

Last year they selected Justin Blackmon #5 overall last season, who has the potential to be a pro bowl receiver in this league, so knowing they won’t have that great of a season this year, unless they pull off some sort of miracle, this team should have a Top 5 pick in next years draft too.

If they happen to have the #1 pick, I think they have a good shot to go after Johnny Manziel if he happens to declare for the NFL Draft, who Luke Joeckel protected last season.

Good pick up by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Oakland Raiders are now on the clock.
