Eagles QB Matt Barkley Fires Back At Adam Schefter

Matt Barkley signed his rookie contract today with the Philadelphia Eagles and is ready to go. He was projected to be one of the top draft picks if he decided to go pro a year earlier, but continuing in school caused his draft stock to drop.

He was drafted in the 4th round by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Adam Schefter shared his thoughts on Barkley’s signing and Barkley decided to fire back:

Why do I love this random stuff?

It’s true. Barkley could have been getting paid a good amount of dough and would likely be a starting QB somewhere if he went out of college a year earlier. Now he has to fight.

Part of the fight is coming out toward Adam Schefter. It wasn’t anything too harsh, but it sure made me smile and get a little chuckle.

Barkley better get ready, he is in Philadelphia.
