Former Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Johnson was released from jail after apologizing to the judge for his lack of respect (ESPN).

Sorry Judge. I shouldn’t have slapped my attorney on the butt, but that is what I do on the football field.

Is that all it takes to get out of jail? I will remember that if I find myself behind bars for some reason.

Sorry! That is all it takes!

Now he can try to continue his quest to find a job as a wide receiver in the NFL. He better remember to get his community service done first.

Let’s see if he follows the Hard Knocks and tries to re-join his old crew, the Cincinnati Bengals. Maybe an apology will work and he can get a job back with them.
