The Denver Broncos neeeded to find someone to replace their hole at center. JD Walton likely will be out for the season after undergoing another surgery for his ankle and the next man up on the roster isn’t someone you would like to put Peyton Manning’s neck on the line for.

The Broncos needed to pick someone up, so they relied on the veteran Dan Koppen again. They signed Koppen last year to fill the hole that was left by Walton and now they just re-signed him to a one year deal.

Koppen should be able to hold the fort down for a season until Walton can finally make his return. Koppen got the job done last season and they will be relying on him all over again. They need some experience in the middle of that line and an inexperienced center on that roster could be trouble.

The Broncos are built to win now.
