NFL Releases A Statement on Aaron Hernandez

The NFL released a statement on the Aaron Hernandez situation:

“The involvement of an NFL player in a case of this nature is deeply troubling,” the statement read. “The Patriots have released Aaron Hernandez, who will have his day in court.

“At the same time, we should not forget the young man who was the victim in this case and take this opportunity to extend our deepest sympathy to Odin Lloyd’s family and friends.”

Hernandez still has not been found guilty of anything, but there is a lot of shady stuff going on around him. He will have his day in court and will get to defend himself. That doesn’t stop everyone from pointing their fingers at him.

For the Patriots, this is a huge blow for their offense. He is one of the most versatile players in the league and is now in the unemployment line and could soon be behind bars.

Enough of the football talk for this post though, remember that someone did die. Remember Odin Lloyd and his family and friends.
