Patriots ProShop Offers Jersey Exchange For Hernandez Jerseys

The New England Patriots Pro Shop is offering fans an opportunity to exchange their old Aaron Hernandez jerseys for any other Patriots jersey. Sounds like an excellent idea by the Patriots:

“We know that children love wearing their Patriots jerseys, but may not understand why parents don’t want them wearing their Hernandez jerseys anymore,” said New England Patriots spokesperson Stacey James. “We hope this opportunity to exchange those jerseys at the Patriots ProShop for another player’s jersey will be well received by parents.”

I definitely would trade in my kids jersey for another players jersey. I know that Hernandez hasn’t been found guilty of anything yet, but the accusations and all the media surrounding it is enough for me to trade in that jersey.

What a great plan by the Patriots.
