Trent Richardson is Pain Free and Ready to Roll for Training Camp

Cleveland Browns RB Trent Richardson is ready to go. He is recovered from his injuries and he is ready to get after it. He has no pain in his leg and is ready to make things happen this season.

“I have no pain at all in the leg,” he said by phone before a Tuesday pool workout in Pensacola, Fla. “I’ll be ready for camp and I’ll be ready to go for the season.”

“I’ll be full-go right from the get-go and y’all out there will see me flying around,” he said. “I can’t wait to get out there and I can’t wait for the first game. I’ve been waiting forever for this season and I know it’s going to be a good one for us.” –

Richardson began his running program in June 24 and he feels that he is ready to roll. He should be a big part of Norv Turner’s offensive gameplan. He will get the ball often and it will open up that passing game for Brandon Weeden. Richardson will be the key for Cleveland’s offense.

He is in a much better position this year. He had 1300+ yards and 12 TDs as a rookie – with a rookie QB – with a rookie #1 WR as the only other offensive threat.

This year all the rooks have a season under their belt. With Norv Turner calling for an aerial attack with a heavily employed TE Jordan Cameron and WR Josh Gordon, it will soften the box and keep defenses more succeptable to runs.

I don’t believe he will have 11 rushing TDs this year – I do think he will top 1500 yards from scrimmage.
