San Francisco 49ers Trade For Eric Wright After He Was Arrested For A DUI

The San Francisco 49ers must not mind if players get arrested for a DUI. They just traded for a player that was arrested for a DUI just a week ago. The 49ers have traded for cornerback Eric Wright from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a conditional draft pick. I guess the 49ers only care about the things that happen on the field. Eric Wright has a DUI and they grab him. Colin Kaepernick gets nude for magazines and wears another team’s hat, but things are still looking up in San Francisco. Just give me production!

Wright has struggled with his off the field activities. He was arrested last seasons for a suspicion of felony DUI and also was suspended for 4 games for using PEDs. Sounds like a real winner. This should be Wright’s last chance to prove his worth on the football field. If he is unable to perform, other teams may not want to take another chance on a player with that much baggage.
