Someone in Dallas needs to get some bubble wrap out for the players out in Cowboys training camp. Yesterday, the Cowboys already lost Tyrone Crawford for the year with an Achilles injury on the first day of camp. Now Anthony Spencer has been sidelined because of bone bruise in his left knee.
“It’s concerning to me,” Spencer said, according to ESPNDallas.com. “It’s bothering me right now. I really don’t know what else to do, so I’m taking it day by day.”
Luckily, this happened toward the beginning of camp and he can take some time to rest on the sideline. Hopefully he will be able to get the knee back to 100% and that it doesn’t linger around for the year. Spencer is playing under the franchise tag this season and will be hoping to have another good year statistically so that he can cash in on a multi-year deal.
