The New England Patriots are looking to bring in WR Laurent Robinson in for a workout tomorrow. Robinson also had a workout scheduled with the New York Jets recently. Robinson feels that he is ready to get back onto the field. He suffered 4 concussions with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012 and was eventually released by the team. His health and safety is a huge concern for anyone that signs him.

While with the Dallas Cowboys, he showed that he has the potential to be a productive wide receiver, but the concussions would be his biggest concern. He wouldn’t be a reliable option for an offense to trust in. He has been streaky in his career, but he could be a nice option for Tom Brady on offense. If healthy, Robinson could stretch the field on offense. That would give more room for Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski to work with.

The Patriots can use a new weapon on offense. Adding a wide receiver with that type of potential would be interesting. It would just be a risk with those injury concerns.
