The Baltimore Ravens are opening up training camp and WR Jacoby Jones has to open it up on the Non-Football Injury list. He was placed on that list because he was unable to pass the Ravens conditioning test. That is not a good way to start out camp for Jones.

Jones was somehow listed on NFL Network’s Top 100 list and was expected to have an even bigger role this upcoming season, but it looks like he relaxed a little too much during the offseason. Maybe winning that championship wasn’t good for his motivation.

Jones had a fantastic run in the playoffs and was dynamic on special teams. He is off on the wrong foot this season, but we will have to see how he responds. He has a lot of work to do to get into football shape and I am sure that John Harbaugh is not impressed. Time to get back to work.
