Buffalo Bills Release DE Mark Anderson

The Buffalo Bills have released veteran DE/OLB Mark Anderson. Anderson had double-digit sacks a couple of years ago with the Patriots. He used that season to sign a multi-year deal for $20 million with the Bills, but it didn’t seem to pan out.

Anderson suffered a season ending injury last season and only recorded one sack and 12 tackles through 5 games. Someone is going to take a chance on Anderson again. Teams need pass rushers and Anderson showed that he has the potential when given the chance.

Maybe the Denver Broncos would like to give him a shot. They are facing the possibilities of not having Von Miller for a quarter of their games. The Patriots also could be interested in bringing him back. They knew how to get production out of him.

The new regime in Buffalo was not impressed with Anderson and have decided to move onto something new. That was an expensive mistake.
