Good Chance Anthony Spencer Will Need Surgery

There is a good chance that Dallas Cowboys DE Anthony Spencer will need surgery on his knee and will miss a few weeks. Spencer hurt his knee in practice and it was diagnosed as a bone bruise this afternoon, but word now is that he may need to get it scoped.

Two days into camp, two big time injuries. DT Tyrone Crawford was lost for the season with an Achilles injury and now Anthony Spencer will be out for a few weeks. The Cowboys will probably be shopping around that waiver wire to see if there are any big bodies that they can use. They need someone to stand up on that defensive front and push some people around.

The Cowboys are hurting in a big way. Who will get injured tomorrow? If someone gets hurt tomorrow, then they might want to take a break from camp for a day and try to regroup.
