Brandon Marshall is fully expected to be a go for the first day of training camp for the Chicago Bears Friday. He had offseason hip surgery, but has declared himself 100%. He had this to say.
No limitations, but we’re gonna be smart. I’m going on my eighth year, had a few hip surgeries, nothing major. At the same time, we start playing games in September. So that’s what I’m preparing for.”
Marshall, who missed all spring workouts, is going to take it easy in his first week back. The Bears medical staff has admitted that he will be limited, so that he does not risk re-injuring his hip.
The Bears are completely counting on Marshall coming back healthy, and dominating like he did last year. Marshall recorded 11 touchdowns, to go along with 1,508 receiving yards. Needless to say, he was an absolute beast last year for the Bears, and is now considered a top-5 wideout in the league.
Can Marshall improve upon his impressive 2012 numbers? You can buy Bears tickets and see him in person this year at Soldier Field. Tickets for the home opener against the Bengals begin at only $165.
