In case you were not aware, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is very good friends with MLB superstar Ryan Braun, who was recently suspended for the rest of the season for substance violations.

Before the suspension, Rodgers took to Twitter and adamantly defended his friend. He even went as far as betting his salary on Braun’s innocence with a follower:

Well Rodgers lost that bet, and now the fan would like at least one game check according to Lindsay Jones of USA Today.

The Spin: Twitter doesn’t forget. Fans won’t either. Good for the fan jokingly saying he wants at least one game check. That breaks all kinds of rules, because of contracts, gambling and stuff, but it’s a funny idea.

Bad move on Rodgers’ part for now knowing how bad athletes can get grilled on Twitter. Nothing will come of it if we had to guess, but he’ll certainly be asked about it as soon as the media has access to him in training camp.
