Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams got the payday he has been waiting for. He has been trying to work an extension with the team and he got that done today in a big way. The Buccaneers and Williams have agreed on a 6-year deal that is worth $40.25 million.

Tampa Bay will be keeping the dynamic duo of Vincent Jackson and Williams together for a while. Williams has been consistent in his first few years in the league. His numbers rely a lot on if Josh Freeman can get him the football.

Now it will be up to Freeman to perform. The offense is set with RB Doug Martin taking the rock. He is one of the top offensive threats in the league. Out at wide receiver, Freeman will have either VJ or Williams to toss the rock out to.

Freeman has been inconsistent in his play and there will be a lot riding on his shoulders this season. The team has talent throughout the roster, but the biggest question mark is at the quarterback position.
