Titans’ Chris Johnson, Bears’ Devin Hester Raced a Cheetah

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson and Chicago Bears receiver Devin Hester have a lot to prove in the upcoming 2013 NFL season, but have spent the offseason proving a few things as well.

For example, both Johnson and Hester elected to race a cheetah to prove a point.

We’ll be watching.

According to Michael David Smith of PFT, the show will appear later this year:

Johnson and Hester have raced a cheetah on a show appropriately named Man vs. Cheetah, set to air in November on the cable channel Nat Geo Wild.

“This is most incredible challenge I’ve ever faced,” Johnson said, via TheWrap.com. “I wanted to go up against the fastest in the world and test myself, and this was it!”

The Spin: Aren’t you glad the offseason is almost over?

But really, no one is doubting the speed Johnson and Hester have at this point. It’ll be an interesting thing to watch later in the season. We guess.

As long as it doesn’t air on Sunday. Or Monday. Or Thursday.

    Um…what was the point ?
I could race a cheetah and have the same results.
If they really want attention…instead of racing the cheetah have the cheetah chase them – loser gets eaten.
