Cardinals Reach Deal With OT Eric Winston

The Arizona Cardinals have reached a one-year deal with veteran right tackle Eric Winston. Winston was one of the best remaining right tackles. It is a smart signing by the Cards. They are quietly putting together a strong team in Arizona. The offensive line is much stronger with the signing of Winston. They also selected OG Chance Warmack in the draft this year. They have a couple of guys that can open up the running lanes.

The Cardinals also brought in DE John Abraham for a visit. That would be another quality signing by the Cards defense. He would bring a pass rush to a defense that already has good talent. The Cardinals will be able to compete this year, but they are stuck in one of the most competitive divisions in the league. They have to fight through the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks in their division.
