Former Jets OG Brandon Moore Set To Retire

Former New York Jets OG Brandon Moore is planning for life after football. Moore became a free agent at the end of last season and didn’t get much interest from teams around the league. He was one of the best offensive guards available in free agency, but team’s were not willing to spend the money to bring him onto their rosters. He didn’t want to play on a minimum contract this year either, so he is planning to hang the pads up.

Moore is 33 and has been training over the offseason. If the right opportunity presents itself during preseason and training camo, then Moore will play. Who can say no to the extra cash.

Moore is known for one of Mark Sanchez‘s most famous plays. He was the butt that caused the butt fumble. If you remember that play, you should remember how well Moore was blocking his man. He is a good player and it would suck if he has to retire because nobody wants to pay him the dough.

      Mark or Geno?

at this point does it matter? I learned in San Diego, if the o-Line sucks, it doesn’t matter who’s back there. If it’s mark, he gets hit a lot. Geno, he’s running for his life.
