Dwayne Bowe Placed On NFI List... Probably Failed Conditioning Test

The Kansas City Chiefs have placed WR Dwayne Bowe on the NFI (Non-Football Illness) list. That usually means that the player failed their conditioning tests going into camp. Bowe had issues with that earlier in his career, but he was on the right path lately and is a Pro Bowl receiver.

The reasons for Bowe getting placed on the NFI List still has not been released, so everything is still an assumption. Word will come out soon enough and we will update this post when we get that information.

Either way, not a good start for the receiver out in Kansas City. He got a new contract in the offseason and it looks like he decided to kick back and relax during the offseason.

UPDATE: It is being reported that he had a chest virus.
