Antoine Winfield Not A Lock To Make Seattle Seahawks Roster

Antoine Winfield signed with the Seattle Seahawks this offseason and word out of their camp is that he is not a lock to make the roster. USA Today’s Tom Pelissero says that based off of what he heard/saw, they’re not 100% sure that Winfield makes the roster. Other young corners – Jeremy Lane, Byron Maxwell, Will Blackmon – are off to good starts.

Still, with the youngsters off to a good start, they have to translate that onto the field in the preseason. They don’t have the track record that Winfield has and that will be a huge mountain to overcome for them.

I think it would be a shock if Winfield is not on their roster by the start of the season. I would be willing to bet my Aaron Rodgers on it, that he will be playing on that roster when camp breaks.
