Kenny Vaccaro Nearly Gets Into Fight With Jimmy Graham

New Orleans Saints rookie Kenny Vaccaro is running around Saints camp like a madman. He is aggressive and knocking the crap out of some of his teammates.

During practice today, Jimmy Graham and Vaccaro battled for a pass. After the play, Vaccaro tossed the ball at Graham’s head.

“It almost turned into a brawl, but we’re both cool,” Vaccaro said. “We understand that we’re just competing and sometimes things get heated.”

Vaccaro also knocked down Pierre Thomas on a non-contact drill and has had a few run ins with other players.

Apparently the team doesn’t want to tone it down though. I wonder what they will be saying when he hurts one of his own teammates. I wonder what they will think when his teammates beat his face in after he causes a brawl.

The kid is playing hard and is trying to make plays. But this is just practice. Save some of that for the real games and against the competition.

I know he may need to tone it down a little… but, after the way that D played last year, I would be jumping for joy to see this kind of fire! Still bummed the Bolts didn’t pick him, Ernie ; )
