According to reports, Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn has been “solidifying” himself as the starter so far in camp. In fact, most of Oakland’s beat writers do not even see this as a real competition. He has demonstrated the most accurate arm, and apparently has a grasp on the offense.
With Terrelle Pryor’s weak arm, and inexperience, it seems that Flynn will easily win the job. The team selected Tyler wilson from Arkansas in the fourth-round, but he has struggled mightily throughout camp.
Just a year removed from being the back-up in Seattle, it appears Flynn will finally get his shot to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, and it is very unlikely that he will be unseated from the starting job once again in training camp. He has had the potential for years, and Flynn will get his chance to show it off to the league starting September 8th at Indianapolis.
