Matt Flynn Shining At Raiders Camp

According to reports, Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn has been “solidifying” himself as the starter so far in camp. In fact, most of Oakland’s beat writers do not even see this as a real competition. He has demonstrated the most accurate arm, and apparently has a grasp on the offense.

With Terrelle Pryor’s weak arm, and inexperience, it seems that Flynn will easily win the job. The team selected Tyler wilson from Arkansas in the fourth-round, but he has struggled mightily throughout camp.

Just a year removed from being the back-up in Seattle, it appears Flynn will finally get his shot to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, and it is very unlikely that he will be unseated from the starting job once again in training camp. He has had the potential for years, and Flynn will get his chance to show it off to the league starting September 8th at Indianapolis.

Man STFU! I was at the Raiders practices 3 and 4. Terrelle Pryor has been lights out, making big time throws. HE is the one who is shining (not shinning as your title suggests) Matt Flynn has just been throwing 10 yard passes. Passes you or your mom can complete. Pryor has been making grown man throws, 40-60 yards down the field. What exactly is your motivation for this bullshit article??? Are you Matt Flynn’s cousin or sumthin?

Yea, I don’t agree with the questioning of Pryor’s arm strength. We all know he’s got it, and from what I’ve read this offseason, he is becoming a more well rounded QB. Whoever it is that is under center for us, I know we will have an awesome season. I would love having Pryor under center with Flynn as a backup, or vice versa. They are both becoming good options with what they bring to the table individually.

I agree , I have not seen anything from Pryor to suggest he has a weak arm. I only question his descision making.

Everyone knows about my fondness for the Raiders…to the point…really?…Why argue over who gets to be the captain of the Titanic. Worry about who your going to draft 1st next year – its pretty much a lock.
