The Carolina Panthers cut their starting right guard, Geoff Hangartner, today. Hangartner was taking the first team snaps in camp and was projected to be the starter, so the move is a bit of a surprise. He has started 83 games in his career while with the Panthers and the Bills.

I am sure Broncos fans are looking in his direction and wondering if he can play center. The right guard job in Carolina is up for grabs and a veteran right guard is now available for teams to pick up.

The Panthers freed up $1.575M with the move. I wonder what the next move will be in Carolina.
