Why in the world does Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay care about a preseason game? Today, Irsay went onto his favorite public forum, twitter, to apologize for the “crap performance” of his team in the first preseason game of the year:

Gave the commanders an earful? Why would you call the whole team out for a preseason game over a public forum like that?

Irsay has always been active on twitter and has always been controversial through the twitter world. This is another case of someone talking too much over the twittersphere.

Just sit back for the next few preseason games, grab a $12 brew from the stadium and wait till the games actually count. These games are used to find the right group of players to keep on the roster and to help build toward the start of the season. Winning doesn’t matter and nobody will remember if the team won or lost. Just calm down.
