Houston Texans stud defensive player J.J. Watt wants to get some action on the offensive side of the football. Before Watt transferred to the University of Wisonsin, he played for Central Michigan as a tight end. He caught 8 passes for 77 yards. He wants to see action on that side of the field again and has been bugging Head Coach Gery Kubiak about it.

Could you imagine Watt on offense? Imagine a 6-foot-5, 289 pound freak of nature lining up at tight end mowing over a linebacker in the running game or catching a jump ball over the linebacker. Watt has that type of athleticism. He is a physical freak and I think he could be a threat to opposing defenses if he lined up on offense.

I don’t know if the Texans would want to line him up on the offensive side of the football though. Watt got a snap at wide receiver during the Pro Bowl and  Kubiak wasn’t too keen on the idea. He didn’t close the door on the idea, but he did say that MAYBE they could find a play or two for him down the road. MAYBE.
