Maurice Jones-Drew will return to the  football field in front of the cameras on Saturday against the New York Jets. This will be his first game action since he suffered his Lisfranc injury last October.

The Jaguars won’t keep him out there too long, but he will be out there enough to get his feet wet and shake off a little of that rust. He was held out from the first preseason game as a precaution.

It will be a great sign for Jacksonville Jaguars fans to see their stud runningback on the football field again. I am sure there will be a lot of interested fanatasy football players that will have their eyes on his progress as well. Jones-Drew has always been one of the top fantasy performers in the league. He won’t have the hype this time around because of the injury, but we all saw how Adrian Peterson returned from his injury.Someone in your fantasy league will take a chance on him. It won’t be me.
