Houston Texans RB Arian Foster will get back on the field on Monday. he will join practice for the first time this year and if he is able to go one without any issue, he would likely see some action in the 3rd preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

The team is not too concerned about getting him back onto the field. He developed some tightness in his back when he was coming back from a calf injury.

"“Any time guys aren’t on the field, you’re concerned [about] when they get back. But as far as are we concerned about him at this point, no, we know what we’re going through,” Kubiak said. “We know where we’re at, so we’ve got time. Do I want him out here? Yes. He needs to work to get ready for the season, and I think we’re awful close to doing that.” – Pro Football Talk"

Foster is a big part of the team’s offense, but the Texans can still generate a running attack with Ben Tate. There is no rush to get Foster back on the field. They just need to make sure that he is able to stay on the field when he finally makes his return.
