Things have not been looking good with the Detroit Lions first team during the preseason.

"“We should be concerned,” Bush said, via Chris McCosky of the Detroit News. “We’re better than this. We have to hold ourselves accountable because we need to put points on the board. That’s our job and we didn’t do that.”"

The Lions were so bad against the Cleveland Browns that Browns LT Joe Thomas dropped this gem about the team:

"They were about as vanilla as you possibly could be last week, so it wasn’t a challenge at all figuring what we needed to do because they just stood there for us,” Thomas said. “We’re going to be playing a few more snaps than we did last time and we’re going to see a little more complex defense"

Talk about a diss. Football teams do not want to be called VANILLA. That is a huge insult to NFL teams.

Calvin Johnson did not participate in the game and he is a huge part of the offense. He will help turn things around, but he can only do so much. The rest of the players on the roster better step their games up or the Lions could be in for another long season.
