Texans WR Deandre Hopkins Left Game With Concussion

Houston Texans Rookie WR DeAndre Hopkins left the game tonight with a concussion. He is one of the top rookies going into the year. He has a ton of potential and there are some big expectations for him this year.

Concussions are not a fun thing to deal with. Matt Schaub looks like he was starting to get comfortable throwing the ball in the direction of “NUK”. He is a big time receiver that can make some big time plays in the passing game for the Texans.

Andre Johnson is getting up there in age and there needs to be another threat in the passing game. Hopkins is expected to be that guy this year, but this concussion will be a little bit of a setback. Not sure what the timeline is for his return, but the regular season will start in a couple of weeks.
