The Buffalo Bills and FS Jairus Byrd have agreed on a one-year franchise tender.

Byrd likely was sitting out to enjoy some vacation time while the rest of the team was grinding through training camp. Now that training camp is complete, he has joined the squad and is ready to go.

Byrd is a huge part of the Bills defense. He was selected to the Pro Bowl last season and finished the year with 5 interceptions. The team would love to sign him to a long term deal, but they will have to wait for the end of the season to try and get it done.
