Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant had a heavy wrap over his right hand on Friday because he is dealing with a jammed thumb. The team doesn’t think that the thumb injury is serious. Bryant played through a fractured index finger in 2012 and a jammed thumb is something I would see him playing through as well. The hurt thumb would make it tough to bring down catches though.
Bryant broke out last season and is expected to have a big time season this year. He finished with 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns and could be looking to put up even bigger numbers this year.
Here is what Dez Bryant said about the injury:
“The thumb is great,” he said.
That’s all you really need to hear about that. His thumb is great and he will be good to go once the season starts.
