Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas Neck-And-Neck in Runningback Competition

Miami Dolphins runningbacks Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas are competing for the starting gig with the team and it looks like the competition is neck-and-neck.

Both guys are competing for Reggie Bush’s old job and Miller was the favorite going into camp, but he is getting some stiff competition from Thomas. Miller has been listed as a breakout candidate from a lot of fantasy football experts, but those expectations will have to be on hold for now.

In the preseason, Miller has 9 carries for 37 yards, a 4.1 yard average. Thomas has 12 carries for 49 yards, a 4.1 yard average as well.

In the end, I believe that Miller win the starting job. He is a talented back and has the ability to make big things happen on the field. This will definitely be a situation that the fantasy football world will be paying attention to.
