The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with LB Sean Lee on a 6-year contract extension.
Sean Lee’s new extension averages $7M/year with that chance to make $8.5M average based on escalators. Huge for the Cowboys. He is the heart, soul had central nervous system of that defensive unit. – Jason LaCanfora
Lee missed 10 games last season with a toe injury, but he is back on the field and healthy this year and was entering a contract year. Before Lee was able to hit the open market, Jerry Jones wanted to dump some money in his direction to ensure his status for the future.
He is a big piece to the Cowoys defense. He needs to stay healthy, but he will make plays when he is out on the field.
