Eddie Lacy To Impact The NFL Greatly

The 2013 season will be exciting to watch, well based on the talented rookie running backs. There’s a variety of young, explosive backs, but the one rookie back that can extraordinarily open eyes is Eddie Lacy of Green Bay.

Lacy was drafted in the second round with the 61st pick in this year’s draft by the Packers. The Packers have lacked solid running backs in the near future, but they seem to have picked up a hard –nosed guy and power running back out of Alabama. Lacy looked good against the St. Louis Rams with eight carries for 40 yards. He’s likely the answer for the Packers offense, and the unit can become effective in that aspect of the game.

According to ESPN reports, the Packers have told reporters Eddie Lacy was a “steal” in the draft. Lacy might actually be the best option the Packers have had since the Ryan Grant and James Starks in 2009 and 2010. Eddie Lacy is projected to have a huge impact in the running game. The Packers’ team as a whole will be more effective in the rushing and passing game because of Lacy’s attributes
