Steelers Believe Le'Veon Bell Has Lisfranc Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell has been sidelined with a foot injury and the team believes that it could be a Lisfranc injury. The dreaded Lisfrac injury could sideline Le’Veon Bell for the whole season. It is the same injury that put Maurice Jones-Drew on the IR last season. Bell is going to get a second opinion on the injury. The team still has not determined if the injury needs surgery.

Bell was just elevated to the top of the depth chart with Isaac Redman, but this is a major setback. He was expected to carry a large load on offense. Those expectations would have to wait till next season and the team would have to be hopeful for a good recovery from the back.

That is going to be a huge blow for the Steelers offense. Big Ben might have to strap the team on his back again.
