Patrick Paterson is going to have a role in the Arizona Cardinals offense this year. He will catch some passes and make some plays on the offensive side of the football. He is a playmaker and is a ridiculous athlete. I expect him to be on some highlights soon.

He currently has a few plays drawn up for him on offense:

“(Arians) told me he was going to give me a share of plays on the offensive side,” Peterson said Thursday, per ArizonaSports.com. “I didn’t know it was going to be this many. I think now we’re up to 60 plays.”

Well that is more than a few plays. That is quite a few plays on offense. He is going to make plays. He will see the football.

Why not get the football out to their best athlete? With Larry Fitzgerald on one side, Patrick Peterson won’t get a lot of attention from the opposing defense. If he can make the adjustment to playing offense, he can make some big things happen.

Let’s see how Bruce Arians uses him on Saturday against the Chargers. He has mainly been a decoy this preseason. He is sure to see the football in his hands soon.
