Brandon Marshall is not where he wants to be right now. He has big time expectations for himself and he is getting frustrated with his progress:
“It’s one of those things where I’m just trying to get healthy for Week 1,” Marshall said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “So you’ve got to have a game plan coming off surgery, a third hip surgery. So yeah, I’m not where I want to be right now. It’s a little frustrating. But we’ll see.” – Pro Football Talk
Marshall is the Bears offense. Jay Cutler trusts in Marshall and Mark Trestman wants to get him the football as much as possible, but if he isn’t playing to the level he wants, it has to be concerning. I have seen Marshall in the preseason and haven’t noticed him slowed down, but I haven’t looked very closely at his progression.
This particularly has to be troubling to fantasy football owners. Marshall is a big time player and there are expectations from everyone. Will he put up the numbers that fantasy football fans need also.
