As of today, the Philadelphia Eagles are running plays faster than every other team in the NFL. While it was expected, new head coach Chip Kelly has a brought a new exciting offense with him. In the pre-season, the team has run an average of 75 players per game which is the most in the league. To give an example of how fast the Eagles are playing, the New England Patriots led the league last year with 74.4 plays per game. Also, it is important to state that at Oregon, Kelly’s Ducks ran 82.8 plays per game last season.

It will be an interesting season for the Eagles as they look to move on from Andy Reid. The fans are more than ready for change, and they will get the privilege of seeing an explosive offense week in and week out. With playmakers all over the field, the Eagles have the potential to be one of the top scoring teams in the league. Another bright spot for the Eagles this pre-season has been quarterback Michael Vick. Vick has shined in the new offense as he has posted 456 total yards and two touchdowns in just 4 quarters. If Michael Vick, and DeSean Jackson can bounce back from disappointing seasons, then this offense could be really dangerous. With the quick play calling, and dynamic players on the offense, look out for the Eagles to be a threat in the NFL this upcoming season, and improve from last year drastically.
