Week 4 of the NFL preseason is here, with the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills kicking things off from Ralph Wilson stadium. The Lions are simply looking to stay healthy while the Bills are looking to break in a new quarterback with EJ Manuel missing from action thanks to an injury.

Here is everything fans need to know.

Lions Player to Watch:  Joique Bell

After Reggie Bush the depth chart at running back for Detroit can be a bit confusing. Bell is currently sitting in third place, but he has the talent to be productive when given the opportunity.

The contest against Buffalo is that opportunity. He is not in any danger of being cut, but making his case for more playing time is a real possibility.

Bills Player to Watch: Jeff Tuel

With EJ Manuel and Kevin Kolb out, it comes down to Jeff Tuel for the Bills. Tuel was in danger of not even making the final roster about a week ago until the players in front of him went down with injuries.

Now Tuel has a good shot at going into Week 1 of the regular season as the starter with both Manuel and Kolb nowhere near healthy enough.

It sounds so simple, but could be a very telling game for the Bills’ chances in the regular season. Tuel is going to see the majority of the work in the game and will have to flash against Lions’ backups to give fans any semblance of hope for Week 1.

Manuel should not be out much longer, but what fans see with Tuel against the Lions is what they will be getting in Week 1 against New England.

The end result is not what matter here. What matters is the 75 guys fighting for only 53 spots. Regardless, here’s a prediction.

Lions 27, Bills 10
