The Seattle Seahawks have one of the deepest rosters in the league. CB Antoine Winfield was hoping to be part of the roster and be part of their run during the regular season. There are a lot of expectations out in Seattle, but Winfield will not be part of that team. The Seahawks are looking to find a trade partner for Winfield, but if they are unable to find someone they will send him his walking papers.

Winfield has been in the league for a while and has showed that he can still produce. He doesn’t have many more years in the league either. He could return to Minnesota if he is released again or there are a few other teams that could use help in the secondary. The Washington Redskins also showed interest when Winfield was available earlier in the year.

UPDATE: Winfield has told the Seahawks that he will be retiring.

Um yes please… Don’t know what he’d cost, but TT should reach out. I’m sure many teams will!
