The Oakland Raiders have decided which 3 quarterbacks they wold like to keep on the roster and 4th round draft pick Tyler Wilson is not one of them. Matthew McGloin beat him out for the 3rd quarterback spot on the roster. Wilson was supposed to come into camp and compete for the starting gig with Matt Flynn, but he fell below expectations and couldn’t even keep a roster spot on the team.

I am sure that someone will give Wilson another shot. He came out of college as one of the top quarterbacks in the draft, but really fell apart. Maybe it was just a bad fit on that roster and in that offensive system. We will see what happens with him. Who is going to give him a call. There had to be other teams that were interested in him during the draft.

It wouldn’t be the first time that this happened to a great prospect QB . Still I liked his story and spunk.
He also showed some courage during PreSeason’s last game fourth quarter.
    Best of Luck Mr Wilson.
