The Oakland Raiders made their first round of cuts and had 4 quarterbacks and 2 punter still remaining on the roster. I guess the finally have decided which punter they wanted to keep. They have informed Chris Kluwe of his release and he tweeted out this message:

Here is the message that Kluwe sent the USA Today about the move:
“We had both had a pretty good preseason, but as the young guy, he definitely has the higher potential ceiling. It makes sense,” Kluwe wrote in a series of text messages to USA TODAY Sports.
“King’s got a really strong leg. He reminds me a lot of me when I was a rookie.”
