The Green Bay Packers have added QB Seneca Wallace onto their roster to become the backup to Aaron Rodgers. The Packers have now signed Wallace and Scott Tolzien, a couple of former backup quarterbacks for the San Francisco 49ers. The Packers should get a good scouting report on their week 1 matchup. Tolzien had been with the 49ers for a few seasons and should be able to give them some tips.

The Packers recently released backup quarterback Vince Young off of the roster. In order to make room for Wallace, the team has released B.J. Coleman.

Wallace will bring experience onto the roster. He has started 21 games in his career, but he will likely just sit on the sideline while he watches Aaron Rodgers do his magic on the field. Maybe Wallace will get a shot to play in week 17 when the playoffs are all locked up.
