Bills S Jairus Byrd Trying To Orchestrate A Trade

Jairus Byrd and his agent are trying to orchestrate a trade by the NFL trade deadline. The trade deadline is on October 29 and there likely will be some teams interested in his services. The biggest question is the price tag. How much will it cost and will the new team be able to sign Byrd to a long-term deal.

Byrd has been unhappy with the situation in Buffalo. He became a free agent at the end of last season and was given the franchise tag. He was unable to get a long-term deal that he was looking for. The Buffalo Bills and Byrd didn’t even communicate much about a long-term deal.

Something that could make this deal complicated is the news that Byrd is dealing with plantar fasciitis. That injury doesn’t heal too nicely and would slow down a safety from making plays. Some team will have to look past that, give up a high draft pick and also pay the man a ton of money. Sounds like a complicated trade, but some team may take a chance.
