One of the best receivers available in free agency, Brandon Lloyd, is going to retire. He didn’t get any interest during the offseason and during training camp even though there were some wide receiver needy teams. Teams didn’t want to deal with the extra baggage that came along with Lloyd.

He was full of talent, but he never was a good locker room guy. There was talk that he didn’t get along with his teammates. There must be a reason why he has been on 6 different teams in his career.

He has spent time with the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers.
