More Bad Steelers News: RB LaRod Stephens-Howling Tore His ACL

More bad news for the Pittsburgh Steelers, RB LaRod Stephens-Howling suffered a torn ACL in the game over the weekend and will miss the entire season. They also lost the best center in the league in that game when Maurkice Pouncey tore his ACL and MCL.

Things are looking rough in Pittsburgh. They will need some help up front on their offensive line and they will need to sign another running back. Too bad they released Jonathan Dwyer earlier in the year.

It seems that things are not looking too bright in Pittsburgh. We will see if they are able to crawl out of it, but it is looking shaky. They traded for Felix Jones in the offseason, so he will get more opportunities to carry the ball. LeVeon Bell would be their workhorse, but he is still recovering from a foot injury.

Running a small back like LaRod Stephens-Howling between the tackles consistently was asinine to begin with. Stephens-Howling was supposed to be the change of pace back and Jones should have been getting carries and in their for pass protection as Stephens-Howling was manhandled and Redman just useless. Redman used wrong personnel in for the play as an excuse for his first fumble two things men don’t make excuses and he shouldn’t be allowed back on the field and secondly if the head coach was even aware the wrong people were on the field for the play he should have called a head coach well at least thats what a professional head coach would do.
