After scorching the Pack once in the 2012 playoffs, the 49ers once again defeated Green Bay on Sunday in convincing fashion, 34-28. Part of that Niners’ victory was 8 year pro TE Vernon Davis and his 98 yards and 2 touchdowns. His combination of size and speed make him one of the most dangerous TEs and as evidenced by week one, one of Kaepernick’s most consistent red zone targets. Even if Davis was playing a rather weak Green Bay secondary, you can’t argue his potential. Look for this season to be one of Davis’s most productive seasons as Sophomore gunslinger Colin Kaepernick will repeat an outstanding rookie season.
