Going into the season, this was thought to be the battle of two of the worst teams in the league. I can’t claim the Raiders to be at the bottom of the barrel any longer. The Jacksonville Jaguars on the other hand scored 2 points against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Where: O.co Coliseum, Oakland, CA.

When:  September 15, 2013,  4:25 PM ET

Watch: CBS, Spero Dedes, Steve Tasker

Live Stream: NFL Sunday Ticket, Game Rewind

Jaguars Player to Watch: Maurice Jones Drew

MJD needs to be back to his old MJD self if the Jaguars want to compete at all this season. He is the only threat on this roster to make a play happen. Teams are going to stack the line on him and it will be tough.

Raiders Player to Watch: Terrelle Pryor

Pryor makes the Oakland Raiders tick. The offense isn’t that strong around him, but he is a playmaker and can make things happen with his feet. He will buy time behind the line of scrimmage and get the ball out to his receivers.

Matchup to Watch: Jaguars Run Defense/Contain vs Terrelle Pryor

Not even the pass rush or play in the secondary vs Pryor, the Jaguars will have to be able to contain Pryor and keep him in the pocket. Pryor is going to look to break off big runs. His accuracy with the football still leaves something to be desired, but when he is out in space he will pick up chunks of yards.

Prediction

The Oakland Raiders should come out of this game with the victory. The only way that they throw this one away is if they start shooting themselves in the foot. They have done it in the past, but I just can’t see them making enough mistakes to lose to the Jaguars.
