Lesean McCoy Thinks The Eagles Could Do A Better Job Rotating Him Out

Philadelphia Eagles RB Lesean McCoy was getting worn out on Monday Night. He needed to get rubbed down in the middle of the game to stop the cramping. He only picked up 184 yards on 31 carries. He only tore up the Redksins defense and made defenders look silly trying to tackle him.

BUT…. he might need to get a little more rests as the season goes on.

“I didn’t mind it Monday night,” McCoy said this week, per Tim McManus of PhillyMag.com. “I think we can do a better job rotating because it’s a long season. I don’t think I need to have the ball 31, 32 times in a game for us to be a successful offense. We have too many different weapons.”

He touched the ball a ton and it is a very long season. I was wondering how long he could last this season before he did get hurt. There is no other team in the league that runs an offense like the Eagles and it is going to take its toll on some of those players. Shady McCoy will be one of those players that we have to keep our eyes on and hope he doesn’t get injured during the year.
